Hey guys! Ever had a weekend off and wondered, “What’s the move today?” Most of the time, you’d probably end up going out to a club with your friends, attend some social gatherings, out to eat, or the movies to catch the latest flick. Well, those are all nice but don’t you ever want to do or try something different? There are tons of things out there to do. You just have to know where to look.
Being in our twenties, we are always looking for something new to do or finding a new place to eat, seeking to explore different things. Living near a city like Chicago (because we’re suburbans) definitely helped us brighten our horizon, but most of the things we would like to recommend can be done anywhere, if you take the time to research.
Over the past few years we have made it a habit to “do more.” When it comes to fun, the possibilities are endless and with friends that are just as adventurous as you, you will always have the time of your life.
Here’s a list of past time we recommend:
1. Attend a fashion show
It doesn’t have to be a big one, there are local designers everywhere and they are always looking to show their work. Make a night of it with your girlfriends (or boy friends), dress up and get dolled up and enjoy the strut down the runway.
Here are a few pictures of us at a show we attended a few years ago
2. Take a wine & paint class
What’s better than creating art and sipping wine at the same time? Trust us, it is ridiculously fun and you will have a grand time.
3. Attend a play or broadway musical
There are shows everywhere. Schools, studios, go online and search! In Tune With Two recently attended The Lion King on Broadway and it was amazing! ( Read our review on it here ).
4. Attend a concert
There are countless artists out there. Some might be local ones just trying to catch their big break, and others are musicians whose albums you’ve played over and over again. Track their tours and get tickets. Who doesn’t love singing along to their favorite songs and busting out a move? As for us, we attended the Between The Sheets Tour that featured Trey Songz, Chris Brown and guest Tyga.
The video below is a footage of the Bryson Tiller concert we also attended.
5. Take a candle making class
Yes, they exist! You get to pick which scent you like and watch it come together, it’s intriguing.
